Transitioning From Kibble
Bugsy's official guidance is to transition gradually over 5–7 days when switching from kibble. A simple approach many owners follow:
- Days 1–2: 25% Bugsy's mixed with 75% current food
- Days 3–4: 50 / 50
- Days 5–6: 75% Bugsy's, 25% current food
- Day 7: fully transitioned
Watch your dog's stools along the way — if they loosen, hold at the current ratio for an extra day or two before increasing. Dogs with very sensitive digestion can stretch the transition over two weeks.
Feeding as a Topper or Treat
Bugsy's doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing switch. It works as a nutrient-dense topper over kibble, raw, or home-cooked meals, and pieces can be broken up as training treats. Storing Air-Dried Food in Singapore
Slight clumping is normal in our humid climate. Bugsy's meals are made with high meat content and natural fats, with fewer starches and anti-caking additives than traditional kibble — so a little sticking together is a sign of what's in the bag, not a fault. As long as the food smells fresh and shows no signs of mould or spoilage, it is perfectly safe to feed.
