The Haqihana harness has been made in Italy since 2003 — handcrafted in the brand's own workshop in Fenegrò, Como by a team of specialist artisans. How to put it on & fit it
The Haqihana goes on in four steps. The neck section lowers over your dog's head, then the belly strap buckles at the side — no lifting paws through loops.
1. Over the head. Lower the neck section over your dog's head, letting the belly strap hang loose. Take your time — a few treats through the process makes this a pleasant routine rather than something to be endured.
2. Buckle the belly strap. Bring the strap up behind the front legs and fasten. It should sit well back from the elbows — never in the armpit crease.
3. Check the clearance. You should be able to slide two fingers comfortably under the straps — snug enough that the harness won't shift and rub, loose enough that nothing compresses. Use the 5 adjustment points until it sits right on your dog.
4. Clip on and go. Attach the leash to the back ring. Check the front rests on the breastbone with the throat clear, then watch your dog move off — the stride should look easy and even.
Re-check the fit regularly. Dogs change shape with age, weight and coat, and puppies change constantly. A harness fitted six months ago may need adjusting today.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle/delicate cycle using cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent — treat it as you would a wool knitwear item. Place in a mesh laundry bag to protect the hardware and buckles. Air dry fully before use. Do not tumble dry.
