The Essential Dog Sensitive Shampoo is a naturally derived dog shampoo formulated to gently cleanse while supporting dogs with sensitive, itchy or delicate skin. Made in Australia using gentle, plant-based ingredients, it helps maintain a clean, soft and healthy coat without stripping natural oils — ideal for regular use in Singapore's warm and humid climate.

Up to 60 washes per 500ml bottle — a little goes a long way. Light herbal scent with a hint of citrus and floral tones. Suitable for all breeds, ages, coat and skin types. Compliant with EU Cosmetics Directive (6th Amendment) and APVMA standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

My dog has sensitive skin. Is this suitable?
Yes — all Essential Dog shampoos are ultra gentle, formulated for sensitive dogs and will not cause skin irritations.

Can I use this shampoo regularly?
Yes — gentle enough for regular grooming and suitable for dogs that require frequent bathing.

Is this suitable for puppies?
Yes — the gentle formulation is suitable for puppies with delicate or sensitive skin. Always introduce new grooming products gradually.

Can I use human shampoo on my dog?
No — human shampoo (pH 4.8–5.8) can disrupt your dog's skin acid mantle, making it susceptible to bacteria, fungus and yeast. Dog shampoo should have a pH of 6.8–7.5 to maintain skin health.

How often should I bathe my dog?
Our products are ultra gentle, so bathing frequency can be based on your individual dog's needs.

Why does my dog still itch after bathing?
Itching may be caused by allergies, environmental irritants or other underlying factors. A gentle shampoo may help, but persistent symptoms should be assessed by a veterinarian.

What's the difference between synthetic fragrances and essential oils?
Read our guide on synthetic fragrances vs essential oils in pet shampoos to understand why heavily fragranced products may irritate sensitive dogs.

Is this suitable for cats?
No — formulated specifically for dogs. Always use products formulated for feline use on cats.
