How To Use

Wet your dog thoroughly, apply the shampoo needed, and gently massage it into the coat and skin. Rinse thoroughly. Alternatively, you can experiment by diluting our premium shampoo in warm water and creating the desired consistency perfect for your dog. Apply this diluted shampoo to your dog's wet coat and skin, massage thoroughly, and rinse off. 

This is a luxurious product, therefore, it will last you a long time. Safe to use on all pets (except cats) with essential oil content at <1%. If you use more than we recommend, your dog will be safe, as this is a natural and ultra-mild formula compliant with the human cosmetic safety standards of the EU Cosmetics Directive (6th Amendment) and APVMA.

Yes. All of our shampoos are suitable for all dogs. They're ultra gentle, formulated to be perfect for sensitive dogs, and will not lead to skin irritations.

Can I use this shampoo regularly?

Yes. The shampoo is gentle enough for regular grooming and suitable for dogs that require frequent bathing.

Is this suitable for puppies?

The gentle formulation may be suitable for puppies, especially those with delicate or sensitive skin. Always introduce new grooming products gradually.

Does this shampoo contain harsh chemicals?

The Essential Dog Sensitive Shampoo is made with naturally derived ingredients and is free from harsh chemicals and unnecessary additives commonly found in stronger shampoos.

Can I use human shampoo on my dog?

No. Using a human shampoo (pH 4.8-5.8 acidic) on your dog can interrupt the dermal acid mantle, making it susceptible to fungus, bacteria, and yeast, which can cause skin irritations and itching. A shampoo specifically formulated for dogs should have a pH of 6.8 to 7.5 (alkaline)

How often should I bathe my dog?

Our products are ultra-gentle, and we recommend bathing your dog based on the individual needs of your dog. 

Why does my dog still itch after bathing?

Itching may be caused by allergies, environmental irritants, skin sensitivities or other underlying factors. Using a gentle shampoo may help support healthier skin, but persistent symptoms should always be assessed by a veterinarian.
