Is your pet food human grade?
Yes! All our treats are made with human grade ingredients. Whilst they are made to please your dog, if you wish to try it for yourself, you might find some seasoning is required. We don't add sugar, salt or any artificial flavourings to our treats - all-natural is what we're all about!
Is turkey good for dogs with sensitive stomachs?
Turkey is a lean, easily digestible protein, making it suitable for many dogs with sensitivities.
How do you source your meat?
We keep it local, sustainable, and ethical. Our meats are ethically-farmed or wild-caught through government-approved methods. All from the green pastures of the Australian country to the pristine waters of Australia! No chemicals, no radiation, no toxins.
Why does Bugsy’s air-dried food clump together?
Slight clumping is normal, especially in humid weather like Singapore’s climate. Bugsy’s air-dried meals are made with high meat content and natural fats, with fewer starches and anti-caking additives compared to traditional kibble. This can cause pieces to stick together slightly over time.
As long as the food smells fresh and shows no signs of mould or spoilage, it is perfectly safe to feed. Store in a cool, dry place and seal the bag tightly after opening.
Should I rotate between different Bugsy’s recipes?
Many pet owners choose to rotate between different proteins to help provide more dietary variety over time. Different proteins naturally contain different nutrients, fats and amino acid profiles.
Rotating recipes can also help keep mealtimes interesting for picky eaters while introducing a wider range of whole food ingredients into the diet.
Bugsy’s Air-Dried Meals are available in multiple proteins including beef, chicken, kangaroo and emu, making rotational feeding simple and convenient.
As with any diet change, gradual transitions are recommended for pets with sensitive digestion.
