There are two ways to play. As a straightforward squeaky toy, the ball rewards every pounce with sound. Or load the cup with treats first, pop the ball back in, and it becomes a burrow and nosework challenge — your dog sniffs out the reward and works the ball loose to get there, engaging nose and brain together. The wide cup opening makes it comfortable even for flat-faced breeds like Frenchies and Pugs.

How to play & what treats to use

  • Best treats — air-dried treats hold their shape and don't crumble or leave residue in the cup; freeze-dried pieces work well too. Avoid wet or sticky food
  • Why nosework matters — a focused sniffing session can be as tiring as a walk, and dogs who work for rewards tend to be calmer and less prone to destructive behaviour

The cup: remove the ball first, then machine wash the cup and air dry fully before play.

The ball: do not machine wash. Lint roll between sessions to keep it clean, and leave it in direct sunlight to naturally sanitise.
