The Pawzler Kaya is one of the most dynamic Level 2 Pawzles in the lineup — and one of the most satisfying to watch in action. Featuring a blue slider mechanism, Kaya hides treats in two different ways: two treats sit hidden beneath the flat part of the slider, while two more are loaded into a hole on top of the slider itself.
To uncover all the rewards, dogs must push the slider all the way to the other side. This reveals the first set of treats underneath, while simultaneously causing the treats loaded on top to drop into the hiding space on the opposite side — a two-stage reveal that keeps dogs engaged and problem-solving throughout. Dogs can push the slider using their nose, tongue or paw.
Kaya takes up 4 spots on the Base and adds a genuinely different style of interaction to any enrichment layout — a great next step for dogs who have mastered simpler lid and drawer mechanisms.

How To Use
- Clip Kaya into your Pawzler Base — press down until you hear a click
- Place 2 treats in the hiding spots beneath the flat part of the blue slider
- Drop 2 more treats into the hole on top of the blue slider
- Let your dog push the slider all the way to the other side using their nose, tongue or paw
- Pushing the slider reveals the first 2 treats underneath, while the treats on top drop into a new hiding space on the other side
- Your dog must then find the newly revealed treats on the other side of the Pawzle

Is Kaya suitable for beginner dogs?
Kaya is Level 2 and best suited for dogs already familiar with basic enrichment toys. If your dog is new to puzzles, we recommend starting with the Beginner Set first before introducing Kaya.
Do I need a Pawzler Base to use Kaya?
Yes — Kaya clips into a Pawzler Base and cannot be used on its own. The Base is sold separately or included in all Pawzler Sets.
How does the two-stage reveal work?
Two treats are hidden beneath the flat part of the blue slider, and two more are placed in the hole on top of the slider. When pushed all the way across, the first set of treats are uncovered and the top treats drop into a hiding space on the other side — your dog then needs to find those too.
Can I use raw food with Kaya?
Yes — works with treats, kibble, raw food, freeze-dried food or spreadable snacks. For the hole on top of the slider, small dry treats or kibble work best so they drop cleanly when the slider moves.
What makes Kaya different from other slider Pawzles?
Most slider Pawzles reveal treats in one step. Kaya's two-stage mechanism — where pushing the slider both reveals hidden treats and causes others to fall into a new position — creates a longer, more dynamic puzzle experience.
Is Kaya dishwasher safe?
Yes — dishwasher safe. Rinse with warm water after the cycle to remove any residue.
Is it suitable for aggressive chewers?
