Onix Pawzle (Level 1)

Keep your dog mentally engaged with the Pawzler Onix — a beginner-friendly enrichment puzzle designed to encourage natural sniffing, problem-solving and interactive play.

The Onix Pawzle features a hidden treat compartment covered by a sliding lid with a small scent hole built into the top. Before dogs even solve the puzzle, they can already smell the reward underneath — helping build curiosity, motivation and engagement during play. Dogs must then slide the lid open using their nose, tongue or paws to access the treats hidden below.  

Unlike traditional fixed puzzle toys, Onix clips into the modular Pawzler Base system, allowing you to rotate, reposition and combine it with other Pawzles to continuously create new enrichment layouts tailored to your dog’s confidence and skill level.

How It Works

Hide treats, kibble, fresh food or even peanut butter inside the hidden compartment and slide the lid closed. The small hole on the lid allows your pet to smell the reward underneath, encouraging them to investigate and interact with the puzzle. Dogs can then push the lid open horizontally using their nose, tongue or paws to uncover the treat beneath.  

Because Onix occupies only two spots on the Pawzler Base, it works especially well when combined with other Pawzles to create larger and more varied enrichment setups over time.
